Grapevine, Texas, November 9, 2008: Oakfield Farms launches e.a.t.TM, a new line of individually packaged, on-the-go meal and snack kits at the IH/M&RS 2008. With a fresh new packaging design developed in response to customer feedback, e.a.t. meals and snacks do not require refrigeration, are trans fat free and have an extended shelf-life. e.a.t. meets a growing need in the lodging and travel segment to provide guests with economical, portable food options, while at the same time reducing labor costs. And because e.a.t. does not require refrigeration, hotels and motels without F&B facilities (or where F&B outlets are not open 24/7) can now offer a quality meal/snack solution to guests. Featuring leading brand name food products, e.a.t. is a meal or snack that guests will trust and enjoy. Operators can sell e.a.t. to boost revenues or offer e.a.t. complimentary to preferred guests as a way to add value and guest satisfaction.

Harvey Alpert founded Oakfield Farms in 1994 after identifying a need for shelf-stable snacks in the airline and travel hospitality channels. Since then, Oakfield Farms has produced hundreds of millions of snack packs for leading travel hospitality companies.
